UFM-4K - Mini Optical Fibre Extender - The mini UFM-4K set consists of a transmitter and receiver pair that can extend 4K HDMI video over a single filament fibre with LC-LC connections (Simplex LC-LC).  It is totally immune to electro-magnetic interference as well as any ground potential differences.  These are major advantages when using fibre to transmit video signals over a very long distance in a reliable format. 

Fibre Cable Types - Using either Single-Mode (9/125µ) LC-LC optical fibre or Multi-Mode fibre (50/125μ) optical fibre. 

HDCP 1.4 support - At up to 300M transmission distance with either type of optical fibre. 

HDMI 1.4b – Is supported at all distances, meaning Resolutions up to 4K30 4:4:4 or 4K60 4:2:0 are possible.

With full bypass of HDCP version 1.4 providing compatibility with encrypted content while transmitting up to 300M.

Works over a very long distance - Transmitting up to 300m requires either a simplex Single-Mode (9/125μ) or Multi-Mode fibre (50/125μ) LC-LC optical fibre. 

Extended Range - If HDCP support is not required, then an even longer transmission distance of 2000m can be achieved by using a simplex single-mode (9/125μ) LC-LC optical fibre. 

Noise Immunity - Total immunity to electro-magnetic interference, with absolute ground isolation over the long distance.  So you can run mix of fibre and copper cables side by side over the entire length of the cable run without any fear of signal degradation. 

Easier to install - Fibre optic cables are much thinner and lighter than copper cables, so less space and weight means you can install more in a smaller cable tray or cable duct etc.  

Reliable and secure format signal - Ideal for high security links. Cannot eavesdrop transmissions. Fibre optic cables are much more secure for data transfer, since it is very difficult to tap Optical Fibre. 

This is product of choice for situations that require any of the attributes mentioned above.  Suitable for installation into premises for government, educational campus, large office, stadiums, mansions, etc.
