SY-MUHDBT-88P is a 4K Matrix Switcher with HDBaseT outputs. This unit has 8x HDMI inputs and 8x Output Channels.
Inputs and Outputs - This model has 8x HDMI Input channels and 8x HDBaseT Output channels. Output channels 1 to 4 also have a mirrored HDMI output port.
Matrix Switching - This true Matrix switch caters for longer cable runs to the displays via the HDBaseT links, as well as 4x Local HDMI ports for local monitoring of display screens.
Any Input can switch to any output.
HDMI output – Supporting HDMI v1.4a 10.2Gbps with maximum of 4K 30Hz 4:4:4.
HDBaseT - Transmitting up to 4K60Hz 4:2:0 (or 4K30 4:4:4) to 40m and 1080p to 70m, along with IR and RS232 control. This can be connected to an HDBaseT receiver like our HDBT-70-SLIM-EDGE-R and SP70Pro-R (available separately).
Audio De-embedder - Each output channel has an analogue stereo de-embedded audio output on 3x pin phoenix connectors.
PoC – The Power over Cable system removes the need for PSUs at the HDBaseT receiver. Power is supplied over the Cat cable to a compatible SY receiver.
Front panel LCD display - This provides local visual confirmation of the current I/O selection.
Control - Each HDBaseT output can transmit IR & RS232 signals to control the far end Display devices. Control over the unit is provided via RS232, IR and TCP/IP Lan connections. The main RS232 port can also be used to pass direct command codes down each of the HDBT lines independently. This means you can use one RS232 port on your controller to inject serial control commands to the Matrix and all of the remote displays.
Each output has independent RS232 ports to allow Control of the connected sources and displays. The IR functionality also provides discreet control with dedicated IR inputs for each HDBaseT channel. The MUHDBT88P also has a global IR input port.
HDCP and EDID - This multi-purpose matrix also has HDCP Management, EDID Management and up to 10 video pre-sets for saving a variety of scenarios for quick changes of multiple sources.
This make this unit ideal for situations where far end transmission as well as local monitoring screens is required.
